At this point it's all about the details...

We went to our location today and got to spend some time there speaking to our coordinator. We went after-hours so we got the place to ourselves and we got to prance around and measure certain spots to determine how much decor we need, etc. Anyway it was fun and really made everything seem like it's just right around the corner...which, of course, it is....! Our lovely photographer, Elise Reinke, also came along so she could see the spot in advance and check out what the lighting will be like. (The whole venue, while being outdoors, is almost completely shaded-yay!) Anyway we feel SO blessed to have Elise along for the ride...we know her photos are going to be absolutely gorgeous and we just want to thank her in advance!!!

In Santa Monica for Greg's birthday weekend 3/28/09

Attire

Since some of you are starting to ask about what you should wear (which is DEFINITELY up to YOU but here's the scoop)---
It's a garden wedding in June which means two things:
It's going to be warm. And it's definitely more semi-formal/festive casual than formal.
Also, girls: there's lots of grass so flats might be easier to skip around in than heels....
And don't be afraid to wear COLOR!!!

timeline

Please arrive at our location at 5:15pm so we can begin our ceremony by 5:30.
Following the ceremony there will be a cocktail hour proceeded by a buffet dinner.
After lots of dancing, laughing, sipping, mingling, picture-taking, and toasting, our evening will end at 11pm.
